The reconstruction of the interior of the ice rink in Liberec required an individual approach and solutions for the flooring systems. The heavy-duty Fortelock Industry PVC floor tiles were chosen to accommodate the heavy loads on the floors. The floor tiles not only had to withstand abrasion and scuffing from ice skates, but also surface water and possibly body sweat that comes from physical activity. The individual components of the floor tiles are interconnected by a system of interlocks that make it possible to replace any damaged pieces without having to change the entire surface.
